all of the Caribbean but mostly St. Lucia
    New England in the fall
    western National parks
    Europe

    Re: Favorite Places to Travel

I would say the most beautiful place I have seen has been Ireland. The scenery driving through the western countryside is just so beautiful.
St Peter's and the Vatican museum is an incredible experience because you are surrounded by priceless works of art.

Places I would love to see.
    Alaska
Iceland. My sister went there and I had no idea how spectacular is was until I saw her pictures.

I still need to see more of America. Every year I try to take some sort of motorcycle trip so I can see more of this beautiful country. Everywhere you go has it's own unique beauty. I have yet to decide on what I would like to try this year. I am thinking up into the northernmost points of Wisconsin so I can see Lake Superior and catch the upper penninsula of Michigan for a short trip. I'll probably ride out east to visit mom and dad also and take a more southerly route.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

I'm hoping to get to Door County this fall, I've heard so much about how pretty it is there. My in-laws went to Alaska a couple years ago and just loved it. An uncle who went with said he would chose going back to Alaska over Hawaii.

I think that would be so neat to just drive around parts of the US like that! Where all have you been so far?

Door County is amazing. We go at least twice a year to a little town called St Germain (Vilas County). We stay in a really nice and affordable resort (Twin Waters), but there are literally hundreds of resorts in the area. The best part about being that far up in Wisky is that the Northern most part of the U.P. is only a few hours away. There are TONS of beautiful waterfalls that we go to every time we make the trip. Lots of great national forests as well. And if you go the first week in October you absolutely will be blown away. It's like driving on gravel roads in Iowa, but they're paved back highways. You can drive for hours just looking at the leaves that just changed. You think Fall is beautiful in Iowa then you need to make a trip up North. Absolutely gorgeous. If you need any suggestion as to where to stay, what to do, where to eat, just shoot me a msg. My fiance and I are getting married at Dillman's Resort just outside of Minocqua Oct 5th of this year. Should be absolutely gorgeous!

Hawaii is at the top so far for us. Both Kauai and Maui

Near the top of my to do list is a Bali vacation.

what did you like about Savannah? I love the plantation houses that we got to see in TN + Civil War history.....I imagine Savannah has plenty of that!

Big Island (Hawaii) easily for my wife and I...then we enjoy any visit to an ocean that is warm (Florida Atlantic over So Cal Pacific anyday...). Rented a house on the Outer Banks of NC and loved it...wouldn't mind going back...and always love a visit to a CO resort town during the summer months.

Yep! Doing an outdoor wedding, so we wanted to make sure the leaves are peak and the weather is still somewhat warm. For sure! Happy to share any info you're looking for. We really, really enjoy hiking the waterfalls in the U.P. Could definitely tell which ones to hit up. Just let me know!

    Re: Favorite Places to Travel

Most awesome scenery: New Zealand South Island.
Been to HI, loved the Hana highway.

Want to go to Alaska in the next year or so. Also would like a summer drive to the Canadian Maritimes. Two places I would like to see.

Also want to see Scandanavia, Germany, Lowland Countries and Switzerland. Been to the UK but that's all of Europe I've ever seen.

Spent 3 weeks in Australia and loved it, too.

Also like the drive in the Florida Keys when the sun is shining. It makes you want to laze in the sun, drink Margaritas and never leave.

No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.

Also the resort we stay at is really nice. Nice cabins right on the lake for a great price. If you get the single unit, which is perfect for 2 peeps and a dog (they allow dogs if you have one), you can stay for 7 days for $350. Dirt cheap. Great resort owned by super nice people on beautiful Big St Germain Lake.
