I am going to the Renegade Brewery tasting room. Pretty good stuff. Unfortunately they are out of the Peanut Butter Milk Stout. You can play Settlers of Catan there while getting drunk.

Probably crack open a couple Busch Light, Bud Light Lime or Blue Moon. Yep, I'm a beer snob.

Gonna pick up a 6 of this tonight. Have you had it before and how does it compare to Ranger? Usually the imperials and double IPAs are just a little to alcohol-y for my taste and overpower the flavor.

I tried it for the first time last night, it was very well balanced, they did a good job with it.

I agree with your take on most imperial and double IPAs. For me, its that the malts start to override the hops, and you're drinking IPAs for the hop flavor.

I had one last night and thought it was really, really good. Strong hop flavor, and not overpowered by malt and booze. One of the better imperials around, and a typically good New Belgium product.

Sounds great. I'm pretty much a Ranger IPA beer snob so looking forward to the comparison.
