If true, he should be on the first plane back to LA.

Isn't USC still on probation from Floyd's first time around at USC?

It could happen. And we could beat Okie State by 50 tomorrow. I'd say they have about the same likelihood.

Which would be awful unless we can get Tinsley back. Otherwise you're re-hiring McDermott.

You realize he has been very successful everywhere he has been, right?

His Bulls stint would beg to differ. But I generally agree in College... he's done pretty well for himself.

Except on his Tinsley-less teams where we were a McDermottesque 33-48 (15-33). Jamaal Tinsley made Larry Eustachy at Iowa State. We stunk without him. We were absolutely incredible for those two years and then fell off the face of the earth.

His career at Southern Miss wasn't exactly stellar either.

Sorry for the derail..pretty sure he's talking Eustachy and not Floyd.

Ah... should have known when Tinsley was mentioned. Give me a break, it's been a long couple of days for me!

Well, one could argue he had us primed to be good again with stinson and blalock and co. He just didn't get the chance. They made wayne morgan look a lot better than he was in 2005 or so. There is no doubt Larry was in a slump when he left here, but the pieces were in place and he would have done a LOT better than Morgan did with them.

I don't think anyone on this board could disagree with this. As long as you were able to sit on the bench with a scowl on your face you could coach as well as Wayne Morgan. I would love to hear what he said in some timeouts.

"What do you guys think? Dish or DirecTV?"
