Martin Daily Blog--Read Point 2-Poiint 3 might upset you.

I believe this guy took over for Chris Williams at KMA. I have known Derek Martin since he was 6 or seven.

Yeah, I don't think the EJ dunk was THAT big of a deal either. It wasn't something I would like to see ISU do, but don't really care either way. Let the kids have some fun. EJ had had a tough season up until that game, worked hard, and then had a tremendous game. He got rid of a lot of pressure in those 40+5 minutes, and needed some adrenalin induced celebration. No harm done. His team got help from the refs, but can't fault EJ for that

I agree that hatred toward Kansas is misguided. Unless you saw self paying off the refs outside Hilton, Kansas had nothing to do with this, they just played to win. The dunk was totally classless, and I hope we don't do it when we have the opportunity (unless it is against Kansas in KC)

Part of my frustration towards KU has nothing to do with what happened during the game itself. Rather, its been the KU fans going on about how both teams were affected equally by the poor officiating.

If you take away first base, they'll just go find a new ballpark to play in.

Who is that clown, and why should we care about his blog? Seems a little biased for a sports guy.

I have no idea how KMA got this kid, knowing their ISU history. Maybe he has grown up a little and can act professional, but he grew up in Denison, was a hawkeye and nebraska fan growing up, went to Nebraska for college and last time i heard, hated the Cyclones. Can anyone around Shenandoah fill us in about hwo he acts now?

I know nothing about this dude. It appears that he's clearly comfortable sharing his opinion, but I'm not here to talk about that.

I happened to notice, that without "cy", you're just...farted.

Here's to hoping you're never without Cy. For all of us, really.

What some people can't get through their tiny little heads is that the officiating in this game was SO MUCH WORSE THAN NORMAL.

Look...I have been an Iowa State fan for all 33 years of my life. And I can ***** about the officiating with the best of them. It has been obvious for years that certain teams get calls.

But Monday was different. I knew before I was home that the Big 12 was going to review the end of the game. Think about that...the Big 12 didn't wait for Fred or Jamie to call. They saw tthe game and realized that the national media wasn't going to buy that this was just normal bad officiating. How many statements has the Big 12 released on officiating in the last couple of years? I can't remember any. I bet they average less than 1 per year.

As far as the stupid dunk, frankly I am still irritated about it. I see lots of talk about how he's a kid and having fun, etc, etc. That's fine I guess, but then you get what you deserve from the fans in attendence. You pull that crap after a close fought win against a team that CLEARLY should have won and you should be so lucky is all that they throw on you are plastic cups.

Anyone has read his trashblog and is an ISU fan would be mad. He is a Fusker fan who sucks up constantly to BIG fans. I have written to KMA about him. He is entitled to his opinion, but when he publishes it on an ISU sports carrying station, it gets frustrating. A true professional reports the news unobjectibly. If he wants to write a blog, he can do it outside the sports, A Matty P. wannabe who can't stand criticism without coming off as whiny *****
