Are the tickets for one game, or for all sessions?

AKA if I go and buy a ticket for the semis, would I have to buy another one for the final if ISU makes it / would I be able to sell that same ticket for the finals if ISU doesn't make it?

tickets are by session..........so every time ISU plays you need another ticket. if they lose you can sell the remainder tickets.

If ISU wins Thursday Friday vs KU (assuming KU wins) won't be a cheap ticket. $100 for upper deck would be my guess and $150 for lower. A lot of it is luck too on who you find that's selling. We're going down Wed night and you can get lucky and find some fans from other schools (the best is the teams that are going to lose right away) and try to buy some tickets off of them if they have all session tickets. ISU fans have a reputation for being well liked down there so you can usually stumble into a good deal if you are buying from another fan instead of a scalper.

Re: Big 12 Tourney Seeding Probabilites

ISU is a lock for the 4/5 game, and can get either seed yet. ISU would have to win out, and OU would have to lose out for ISU to get he 4 seed.

ISU will either play OU or OSU. It will probably be OU, but if OU wins out, and OSU loses out, ISU will play OSU.

I dont think we can play OSU. If they lose out and OU wins out, they would both be 12-6, they split with eachother. Split with KU, and as of right now OU was swept by KSU, KSU still has to play at OSU.

If I am looking at it correctly, I think its settled that we will be playing OU.

If OU and OSU tie at 12-6, they would of split head to head, split with KU, swept by KSU (assuming OSU loses out), split with ISU (again, this is assuming OSU loses out). Then you get to Baylor; OU swept Baylor and OSU split with Baylor, so OU would get the nod.

It also appears there is one scenario where ISU could get the 4 seed if ISU wins out, OU loses to West Virginia, and KSU beats OSU.

You got it. Below are the 31 possible outcomes that I see which allow ISU to finish as the 4-seed.

Re: Big 12 Tourney Seeding Probabilites

This will be the first time my dad and I are going down to the Big 12 Tourny. What does everybody recommend we do? The plan is to go down Wednesday night, and more than likely stay for the whole thing regardless of if Iowa State wins. Should I just go ahead and get the all-session tickets so we're guarenteed spots? Or is there a way to get the first session that we're in (which I believe is session 2?), and scalp for the rest of the rounds? Just haven't scalped tickets before so not quite sure how that works.

Also, is a session one game or two? Thanks in advance. I'm really looking forward to getting down there for the first time.

We are going down Wed night, last year we went down Wed night too and went to Kelly's in Westport and there is a ton of State fans there and they have good specials. Otherwise most everyone is down at the Power & Light District the rest of the time.

Most everyone in the group I go with buys all session tickets and sell the ones ISU doesn't play in (which the last however many years has been every session but one so they made a good amount of money off of them). I just go down and take my chances scalping and then I don't have to worry about going down and scalping the other ones before games. All sessions are two games I believe besides the finals. There are a ton of people scalping down there and you can get seats wherever you want. Lower level is def a better purchase but you'll pay for it.
