    Never seen one. Never driven one. But I have a sudden urge to buy one.

    You buy it and tell us how you like it. Remember this is a Toyota Tundra site. They are having trouble selling Fiats in Europe so they are introducing them here.

    If they are having trouble selling them in Europe then it must be something new. Between these and the Mercedes Smart I swear they made up half of the cars on the road in both Italy and France.

    There are a few in my neighborhood which you must park on the street they look like great parallel parkers. Little to small for my taste but if you life in a dense area it could work nicely. I think more practical small car would be the new Scion X2 saw it at the Chi Town auto show and looked better than old models.

    Back on topic though, they actually look like fun little cars to drive. Scares the hell out of me though, thinking about owning one with all the large SUV people in the US. I know they pass all the classic safety tests, but I wonder what the 40 mph against an SUV looks like? Not really a good suburban car, but probably awesome for congested city driving.

    Test drove one at the auto show for ***** and giggles.

    The words I'd use to describe it would be under powered, cheaply made, and tin can

    When the sales guy wouldn't talk about anything other than the radio it was obvious he knew the ride was a turd also

    I glimpsed that commercial while walking by my TV a few days ago. Needless to say I stopped walking and stood there with a puddle of drool forming around my feet.

    I rented a Fiat 500(petro) while in Italy. It had less horsepower then the models in the US and it had plenty of power. In this video I'm going about 95-100mph. If I was looking to buy something in this price range I would buy a Honda Fit instead.

    And yes it was baby blue :)

    Did you even read these articles? I don't think they say what you think they say...

    The first one says Fiat sales were slow to start but are picking up now that the marketing has started. Article says that with no marketing, they sold only 5000 fewer Fiat 500 than the Mini sold in it's first year, though Mini had a better economy and huge marketing campaign.

    The second two articles are about the reduction in the entire EU auto industry demand, not just Fiat.

    The Abarth is not the standard Fiat 500. It's got a turbo to bump it up to 160 hp, lower/stiffer suspension, better 5 speed manual, better seats, etc. It's a very different car than the regular Fiat 500 (which, yeah, isn't that great). Abarth is to Fiat as Shelby is to Mustang.


    You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

    The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not.
