    2013 MLB Predictions

This is something my buddies and I used to do in college. Every year we would predict the winners of all 6 divisions, plus the wild card team from each league and then predict how the playoffs would go. I think it would be fun to do here, and then bump around playoff time and see how it worked out.

*Note: it's a little different now with 2 wildcard teams making it from each league. The two wildcard teams play each other in a one game playoff before advancing to the divisional round as the 4 seed. ALSO, THE WILDCARD TEAM PLAYS THE NUMBER 1 SEED REGARDLESS OF DIVISIONAL ALIGNMENT NOW.*

    Ill start.

    AL WEST: Angels
    AL CENTRAL: Tigers
    AL EAST: Blue Jays

    NL WEST: Dodgers
    NL CENTRAL: Reds
    NL EAST: Braves

    AL WILDCARDS: Athletics and Yankees
    NL WILDCARDS: Nationals and Giants

    AL WC: Athletics
    NL WC: Nationals

    ALDS: Angels over Athletics
    NLDS: Braves over Nationals

    WORLD SERIES: Angels over Braves

I figured it wasn't necessary to include ALCS or NLCS round since you could determine matchup and winner by ALDS/NLDS results and World Series matchup.

    Reds will win it all.

Oh, ****, I forgot... Dusty. Never mind.

I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. During the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
“Because,” says the Lord, “Sandpeople always ride single-file, to hide their numbers.”

I figured I would try to make it as streamline as possible since the Cubs or Royals aren't included.

Alright Mackey. Time to come clean. I'm 99% sure that I know your pops. I used to work with him at a particular establishment in CF. I know he's a big Raiders/Royals fan that has a kid who goes to ISU.

Braves lose in NLCS or WS....which is it? I take them to win it all.
