Hoiberg Confronting Official at End of Game?

Anybody catch or able to make out exactly what Fred said to the official he chased down before going through the post-game handshake line?

Walters said on the radio show it appeared that one official apologized to Fred.

This is like saying to a someone you had a one night stand with "sorry about giving you that STD...no hard feelings right?"

If one official who wasn't in position to make the call sees after the fact that other official blundered badly (or whatever he was doing ) he can't fix it, but he can let the coach know that he is sorry that it turned out that way. I didn't see which official it was. Was it O'Neill?

He confronted O'Neil, probably because he was closest..?

ONeil make the ridiculous loose ball foul call on Babb, followed by the black ref not calling a charge and then calling a loose ball foul on Niang. So in his mind, you can run someone over, but you can't wrestle them for the ball afterwards.

Does anyone have video of the Withey foul in regulation but was called on Young instead?

I highly doubt there was any apology offered. That's about the worst thing they could do.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

"I'm sorry you feel that way." is probably being interpreted as an apology.
