From someone watching the game (An outside POV)

I'm a Memphis Tigers fan, but I was watching your game tonight.

Your team has played with more heart than I've seen in a lot of teams this year. I can't believe a lot of the calls that you all are receiving (or more to the point, not receiving).

You've got some great talent, and I'm definitely pulling for you guys after seeing the fight in your team.

    Way to go you guys.

Oh they were rooting for someone. It just wasn't you all. It was sickening.

You think tonight was bad? That's just your typical night playing against KU. It's 8-on-5 every single night. Bet you've never seen this before:

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

You should be incredibly proud of your team. They played with everything they had. And I know it's hard to be proud after a loss, but they should hold their heads up.

Re: From someone watching the game (An outside POV)

holy crap. i can't believe how big of an idiot both Fred White and the other announcer were for not understanding what happened on that play. It WAS a two shot foul and after Homan missed the first Kansas was allowed to come down and make a 3. Then they came back down to the other end and let Homan shoot the 2nd of his two free throws. Then they gave Iowa State the ball back after the made free throw. The aging Fred White was so stupid he thought there was a technical on Kansas, then came back and said "give credit to the officials for getting it right." If you don't understand what happened there Iowa State absolutely got screwed on a call that I will be you has never happened a second time in the history of college basketball.

The sad part was that even though ISU was down 10 at the time we would rally and take the load. Only to have Keith Langford force OT on a 3 pointer when his foot was about 6 inches over the line at the top of the key. This is before they used replay. KU and the officials would complete the theft in OT.
