    Stephen Howard

Anyone else notice Dave Armstrong say something, and then Howard would say "No" and then agree with him?

I'm watching it again and have counted for time, and I'm only at the 10 minute mark of the first half.

"Hilton is one of the best places to play in the nation."
    "No, you're right it is."

Sure, it's a manner of speech. Just a really dumb sounding and off-putting one. I feel sorry for the guy that had to do the game with him. If someone next to me, after every point I made, said "No" followed immediately by an agreement with what I just said I would find myself next to someone else as quickly as possible.

That being said you are right, he was very complimentary of ISU and Hilton. But so have most announcers sent to broadcast a game there. To deny the fanbase/coliseum and this very good team and coach anything less would also sound just as dumb on air. Anyone who knows college basketball and especially the big 12 knows how important a thing ISU and Hilton are. We've earned some respect for our reputation. We can add another huge notch in that reputation belt on Monday.

No, I totally know what you're talking about. I was more amazed when they were talking about Ejim and All American status. Was Howard an Academic All American? Wow
