Christian Ohrt - OL Cedar Rapids

Anyone know much on this monster kid? I get he is on EIU turf, but at 6'10" and over 350lbs already is insane.

At 360lbs? Not sure basketball would be his thing but who knows.

All he needs is a 5 inch vertical to dunk

That is almost Shaqlike. Is he still growing? He might be a deluxe road grader. Could you dive over the top of him on running plays? He could be the biggest lineman in AMERICA FROM A HEIGHT STANDPOINT.

I have some knowledge about this guy...and though he is a nice guy personally...the two questions that are big red flags are work ethic and injuries!

Also...he left Cedar Rapids Jefferson in a dispute with the new coaching staff...

Certainly wont be easy now that Iowa will no longer venture too far from Iowa City to recruit, but maybe Cedar Rapids will be too far for their staff?

To his defense, when you are that big, I'm sure you don't have to work too hard to be an effective OT.

What, did he want to play WR or something?

I wonder if he would benefit to move to the DL. Being so tall, I could see issues with the QB seeing around him on the OL. Put that height to work at DT or nose guard.

    You mean like this?

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr
