I think they'll beat WVU and maybe Texas. But, it wouldn't surprise if they lost all 5 because of Drew.

I really think 5 berths is a lock for the Big 12, and owning a sweep against Baylor is big if we're both on the bubble

If I were a betting man I'd say they win 2 out of the 5.

    Re: Baylors last 5 games

I think Baylor steals either of the K-State or KU games at home, but they could lose all of the five games left on the schedule.

Yep. We could still play our way out of it, but we're in excellent position right now. Baylor looks like they are headed to the NIT.

They will split their home games and win at least one on the road, but could win 2 (road games).

    Re: Baylors last 5 games

I think they will struggle to make the tourney at this point. I hope I'm wrong because them being a tourney team would help us but this was as big of a loss for them as it was a win for us.

I'd say the Big 12 has 5 locks for the tourney, assuming the top 5 continue to play well. Baylor will be the lone bubble teams from the conference.

    Re: Baylors last 5 games

That's really a lot like our schedule from a difficulty standpoint.

We have TTU at home instead of @ TX, advantage us.

We have OSU at home instead of KSU, advantage them.

    Re: Baylors last 5 games

Statistically I want Baylor to finish pretty well to give us a more quality win. Illogically, yet logically in my mind, I'm okay with them tanking so there are 5 clear teams from big 12 to make the tourney.

In other news. Early shot by OSU. Now giving last shot opportunity for KU there. Did I miss a shot clock situation?

    Re: Baylors last 5 games

they will beat WVU, Mountaineers are a tough, young team but just not a good enough shooting team right now to beat Baylor. @ Texas is a toss up, but I still think Baylor has a slight edge. the other 3 I would predict them to lose. But can't leave out like some people have already said: their coach is Scott Drew so losing all is a definite possibility.

I think they win one. Hopefully they win a few so our road win looks better.

Be nice if they win both home games (KU and KSU)

That would help our cause immensely.
