    All-time Best Movie Villains

    Who are your favorites?

    I'll start the ball rolling.

    I submit Mama Fratelli.

As mean as they come, yet refined enough to pull off a fashionable beret and pearls combo.

Here she is sporting some magnificent ink, or possibly an arm bruise. Whichever it is, it sends a clear message that she is not to be ****-ed with. George Wendt really showed his range with this portrayal. Bravissima!

Scar was pretty bad. And Gaston. The Joker, too.

Look at that sentence structure, nice!

Vader was fairly incompetent, though. I just read a really good article on the military strategy of the Hoth Invasion, and Vader basically failed miserably. The most notable point being that their entire strategy was to take down the shield generator so they could fire on the base with orbital strikes, but when they got it down, they couldn't fire, because Vader had led the landing party and was in the base that they had planned to bombard.

I thought it was because the Star Destroyer fleet had came out of hyperspace too close to the system to fire upon the planet...

coming our of hyperspace too close was what alerted the rebels to the attack. they could still have fired on the planet, had the shield not been operational.
