    Musberger

I was cruising the ESPN boards today, which suck if you didn't already know (big s/o to CW and crew), and a topic was brought up that Brent Musberger would be announcing the KU game next week. There were a lot of people over there that seemed surprised by that. I thought that Musberger was sort of "normal" announcer for Big Monday games, no?

I don't was this to become a "Better him than Dukie Vitale" or anything, just honestly curious... TIA

I think he's announced every BigXII Big Monday game i've watched this year.

I also think he's generally a horrible basketball announcer.

Can't stand either, but Dickie V is even less awful than Musberger. May as well just start out the game on mute with John Walters on, it usually takes me a while of listening before I get disgusted.

I guess I don't care one way or the other, cuz I'll be at Hilton and won't have to listen to either DV or BM(zing? )!!!

Personally, I can deal with someone who is simply doing a bad job a lot easier than someone who is being an asshat attention whore.

Should be fun. What if he happens to notice cowgirl in the audience? Maybe he'll launch her modeling career for the Dairy Association?

I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. During the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
“Because,” says the Lord, “Sandpeople always ride single-file, to hide their numbers.”

The ones on ESPN, yes, and Fraschilla does Color. They talked about it on the broadcast last night...it will be Musbergers first game inside Hilton. Fraschilla told Musberger he would take him to Hickory Park or Wallabys.

    Re: Musberger

DOesn't he do games with Bobby Knight? Having Knight would make Mus tolerable.

Edit: saw is was Fran with him, that's even better.

Fraschilla is good, he is usually kind to us.
