2 other teams with newish OC's and offense issues

BYU - Had a really good defense, terrible offense. Fire OC Brandon Doman after 2 years and bring an earlier OC back.
    Kragthorpe: BYU

Utah - Promotes young OC internally after Norm Chou leaves, then basically hire Dennis Erickson as co-offensive coordinator this year. Utah football: Whittingham doesn

I'll be curious to see how these play out, both defensive minded head coaches with good defenses and struggling offenses. Would you like a hire of an Erickson type as a co-OC at ISU, with the intent to get an immediate fix and hopefully transfer knowledge to the younger protege?

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

What is up with LSU and Cam Cameron. $3.4 mil over three years. Crazy or desperate?

Answer is both. Les Miles has lots of money to throw around. Just think what ISU could add to its staff for the same amount of money.

The trend is NFL running "college" offenses not college running pro style offenses. This is because the QB's are better suited for the read option which is what they ran in college. So the hiring of a NFL OC doesn't impress me unless he is able to bring in a NFL QB.

Good point. This guy couldn't even make Joe Flacco productive. What is he going to bring to the college game.
