I'm 6'3" and I always use the low urinal, by necessity. The higher urinals are too high for my little guy.

    Re: Etiquette

Here is a piece of etiquette for you: you're an ******* if you plug the urinal in a porta-john, especially when it's dark outside in the summer when people are wearing flip flops.

Looks like someone you know has had a bad experience with this situation.

    Re: Etiquette

I'd push the person as I walked by them to the short urinal and then ask them how they pee out of their thumb.

    Re: Etiquette

I've had friends comment that I stand too far from the urinal which invites "meat gazers" attention. I'd rather some creep stare at my package than risk physically touching any part of the urinal but the flush handle.

The occasional drunk guy who pulls his pants down to his ankles to pee, I always find hilarious though.

Is anyone a big fan of the urinals that extend all the way down to the floor? Personally I hate them because then it gets all over your shoes and who wants that?

this also invites the constant puddling of urine between your feet at an urinal...

Protip: don't stand in the urinal.

    Re: Etiquette

At my work, the bathroom on my floor has 2 urinals and 3 crappers. The other idiots are so stupid that they will pick a stall first to wizz all over the seat and splash everywhere and then finish with a quick shot at the floor. Is it so f-ing hard to use the dang urinal? 5 year olds make less of a mess than these idiots!

That's my approach. Avoid splash at all costs.

Again, I don't really know how this all works. My dad and brother used to describe the "trough" urinal that they had at Jack Trice once upon a time, and I assumed guys stood on both sides of it peeing in the middle, and that sounded like an AWFUL idea.
Troughs are pretty much evil I think.

I have never been able to figure out when splash back is likely to occur or not. There are too many factors involved. Entry angle, velocity, angle of the urinal...
