    Stay Positive

Now that I've cooled off, ive had a chance to collect my thoughts. The team played their guts out. You cant question their effort just a few mental lapses on defense and great inbound plays by UT. Regardless lets stay pisitive and stand behind this team through thick and thin. 8 more games is a lot !

My observation during our last possessions in regulation, OT, and 2OT is McGee or WC always take the last shot. WC just isn't quick enough to get around his man and McGee has 2 guys in his face. IMO I think Lucious is the hardest to guard off the dribble. He can easily create his own shot anytime he wants. I think he needs to become the leader step up and hit the 16 footer or drive around his man and kick out for a trey. We need him to penetrate more and good things will happen.

Lets get the ball in KL hands down the stretch and good things will happen. He needs to take more smart shots period. he is our most under utilized player on the court.

I will still be cheering them on untill the end, I just don't have any expectations for them anymore.

Same here. I will ALWAYS cheer the Cyclones on no matter what. I just won't expect them to win any close games the rest of the way. We just aren't able to do it, so why get all worked up about it.

    Re: Stay Positive

How about WC stops driving to the rim softly throw up a shot and expect a foul. I mean he falls to the ground every time and expects a foul. Guess what they haven't given it to you all year yet he insists on continuing to try it. I'm a big WC fan but this **** from him has to stop... To be honest I want some kind of play to Niang at the end. With his post moves I like our chances at a defender over pursuing and him putting it in...

    Re: Stay Positive

We'll be fine. I would beat we don't win out at home, but rather go 3-1 and then pick up a road game somewhere (@Baylor or WV probably) and end up with 20 wins going into the tourney. All this crying is just typical CF over-reaction. We'll be ok.

Geez...people are seriously melting down around here today. Seriously, think about this: we went 4 years in a row with NO post-season of any kind and the most win in a season was 16. Chill out, Fred has this under control...

I think most are positive, it's just the vocal minority that are making the most noise right now. It's always like that after losses like these.

Will needs to stop driving so close to the out of bounds line. Thats all he does. If he is going to drive he needs to go up the middle and take it into the teeth of the defense strong. But I'm not even sure Will can bench 150 pounds.

I would agree except one thing: his FT's are absolutely awful. Seriously, he is like RW reincarnated at the FT line. All he has to do is airball one and I would say he is just as bad. Imagine him trying to ice a game at the line with a 1-and-1....eck!

With the amount of experience we have I was really hoping we would take that next step and make a push for a top 6 seed. Just getting in with this group is a disappointment IMO.
