    Smart Phones

    I currently have a company blackberry. Company gives an option for a personal use Smartphone with a $75 monthly credit. Thoughts? Which phone should I get Droid and iPhone are the only ones I know of? What is the best phone out there ease of use cost etc. Thanks in advance

    I got a Droid, and at this point would never go to Iphone. I don't like crApple though.

    I have no complaints about my Galaxy SIII. I would go that route!

    edit: If you use your phone a lot for business the Note might be better for you though, it is bigger and more built for that.

    Easy of use probably an Iphone.

    If you're techie minded and like to customize/personalize your phone etc, Android.

    Appreciecate the help. A buddy of mine just pimped the iphone 5. A little pricey at the front end but it seemed like a pretty good ride. The thing is so thin that it might be tough for me to hang on to?

    I dont get the ease of use argument. I do the exact same things just as easy on android as ios. It allows for more customization if you feel the need but your not required to.

    I tend to agree, android is pretty darn easy to use.. That said, if you're in the apple ecosystem you might lean to iphone for icloud and ease of use there.

    I have a galaxy nexus, the nexus 4 is limited to t-mobile so won't get that and I like vanilla android versus the carrier modified versions. I'd wait if you can for the S4 to check out, and rumors about a google/motorola phone are intriguing as well.

    One thing I liked having an iphone was having the ability to go to the apple store for issues, top notch.


    I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

    If you think the iPhone 5 is slim you need to try and hold onto a Galaxy (doesn't matter SII or SIII) I bought a silicon case for it just to keep it from slipping out of my hand.

    I have never owned an iPhone but what drives me nuts about the android stuff is it seems every update to an app turns on the dumbest features. Facebook app always turns on alert so in the middle of the night my phone will vibrate and wake me up. Of course I assume it is work and it turns out someone invited me to try the My Brithday app on facebook or invited to to play some stupid game. Like I give a **** about that.

    Earlier this week I had a automatic system upgrade and it turned on some feature that would automatically turn on WiFi and 4G all the time. (No WiFi at work and no Sprint 4G in Omaha) so all it does is drain the battery. I would turn them off and they would turn back on. I had to look online to figure out how to turn that "feature" off.

    Loving my Galaxy Note II. It is fast, the battery has staying power, and the screen is beyond huge.

    Samsung burned me on to many phones way back with crappy products that I have refused to buy more from them. That said the main reason I have not upgraded in almost 2 years is because all the best options are Samsung's. I have a EVO 3D right now that has been working great. I am sure the new phones are way better by now.

    I have an HTC EVO 4G LTE for personal use, and love it, especially now that Sprint's 4G LTE is up and running in my area.

    For work, I exchanged my iPhone 4 for a Motorola Droid RAZR M. It's a nice phone, but it has a cheaper fit and feel than the EVO. Also, I like the bigger EVO, but my options at work were limited.

    I definitely prefer either of the Android phones to the iPhone.
