    Verizon Fios vs Comcast Xfinity

As some of you may know I'm moving to Virginia this weekend and I'm presented with the big choice.... Fios or Xfinity.

Anyone with experience with either and have any suggestions... I have heard alot that Comcast sucks?

I'm currently with Bright House (under Time Warner) and they're amazing... looking to get a similar experience.

    Thoughts?

Go With Verizon Fios as I believe they are a carrier of The Longhorn Network and then you will be one of tens of people who get it!!!!

I've had both. FiOS is better and was the cheaper option when I had it.

Either one will be an upgrade over Time Warner; they are awful.

I could get Comcast right now or hold out hope for FiOS. I am currently rocking Dish while patiently (oh so patiently) waiting for FiOS to arrive at my location.

This is absolutely the easiest question in the world. FIOS. I've had both. I went running away from Comcast as fast I could to FIOS.

Comcast sucks because they are expensive.

Re: Verizon Fios vs Comcast Xfinity

Comcast comes with my monthlies here at the condo. They are a cable company, so their service is crappy. They have a 2 hour window guarantee, but the first time I scheduled them to come and fix problems with my cable service they "lost" the appointment so it didn't get scheduled - thus I waited all afternoon and they didn't show up. When I asked about the guarantee they said since it wasn't actually scheduled (their fault) technically there was no appointment. All I had was my word that I'd had an appointment so it didn't carry any weight. I'd try the other option if I were you.

No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.
