    Should McGee start?

When McGee is on, he reminds me of Dedric. I find myself wishing he would be the one taking the shot almost everytime down. I know Tyrus is not a true point, but I think he would do just fine in that role.

It will be interesting to see if Tyrus' minutes grow as we get to the tourney.

It doesn't matter if he starts or not, as long as he gets his minutes IMO. He needs to play a LOT of minutes, but doesn't necessarily need to start. He does provide a great spark off the bench.

Who would you take out of the starting lineup?

This thread is out of the way.

Do we do the Booker thread now?

    Re: Should McGee start?

No, he is a sixth man. He brings the energy off the bench and fits great in that role. I do agree with you though that he could play some point. IMO I'd rather have him at point than Clyburn when Lucious and Bubu are in foul trouble.

    Re: Should McGee start?

It seems that we get off to slow starts. And then magically at the 16 minute mark we play better.

I would like to see him start, just to see if that changes how we start each half. Give him a breather at the 12 minute mark.

    Re: Should McGee start?

When Korie and Bubu were on the bench with foul trouble yesterday and Tyrus playing the point, we struggled big time.

Babb has started to be one of our best offensive players lately and he is still our best defender. He is by far our best player right now. No matter how much Will is scoring.

    Re: Should McGee start?

Also look at his minutes. I haven't checked since the last thread we had about this but he was averaging the 4th most minutes on the team behind Babb, Clyburn, and Korie.

That is because GN and ME get in foul trouble.
