How often does ESPN cover a D League player's debut like this? I'd guess infrequently or never. While Royce's "situation" drew more than it's sure of bad press, it's kind of like the marketing philosophy - "No such thing as bad press, all press is good press."

(I also admit to seeing the whole thing through my cardinal colored glasses, after downing a few gallons of the kool-aid...)

I think this is a great point, and the fact that the game comes so easy to him is probably a reason its not. Not saying Royce didn't put in a lot of work to get where he is now, but he does things so effortlessly that its easy to see why he has other focuses. It could be because of the challenge.

Yeah the games are streamed live on youtube, because the D-League and youtube constructed a deal to show all games for free in order to possibly gain more fans. You can watch all the games here:NBA Development League - YouTube

He might need to lay off the extra cheeseburgers, looks a little heavy.

First thing I thought when I saw him. He's put on some bad weight since last year's March Madness.

    Re: Royce White debut

This .gif is a good example of why Royce will make it in the NBA (whether or not he's good or not is another question, but he'll always have a place if he can keep overcoming his angstxiety issues). Look at the little boy that has to to guard him on the perimeter, he's a matchup nightmare.

I agree. Even if he has average stats, he is capable of a few jaw dropping plays a game, and let's face it, the NBA is an entertainment business.
