Still don't. IMHO those are more confusing terms than Leaders and Legends.

As a kid I didn't understand the term "make ends meet". I thought it had something to do with meat products.

I am still pretty convinced girls poop out babies. It is the only logical answer.

Babies, although to be fair everything that happens down there is still kind of a mystery to me.

My grandmother use to use the word ********** under her breath. I copied and it took a few years for me to find out that was not cool.

The significance of Petticoat Junction's town name, Hooterville. Now I know why my dad liked to watch it so much.

My mom is a nurse so instead of giving me a flowery birds and the bees speech she tried to explain female anatomy to me. Something about babies not coming out of where girls peed, but from another hole.

Needless to say I was confused. the mental picture in my mind was messed up.

I decided that babies came out of the mom's belly button until my buddy in early grade school informed me that I was wrong and that babies come from the mom's butt. Made it way grosser.

Re: Things You Completely Didn't Understand As a Child

I was a pretty confused kid who learned to read at a very young age. When I was four and helping bring in groceries, I put my mother's "sanitary napkins" on the dining room table. She blushed and told me they went in the bathroom. I asked why we were eating in the bathroom and why would anyone want "unsanitary" napkins.

I also thought when we got in the car that it felt like the road moved and the car did not.

When I saw movies about real people, I always wondered how the movie people knew to follow that person around with a camera early on in their life...and I always hoped I'd find a camera person following me (that would mean my life was good enough for a movie later and I was destined for greatness).

I dated a girl with the initials BJ. At one point she thought it would be a good idea to sign her name that way.

I had to explain why that wasn't a great idea.
