I'm sure the Jayhawks/officials will ultimately win out here, but incredible to see Kansas look so bad.

So frickin jealous of what they have in Ames. It's truly amazing what Fred has done coming in with 0 coaching experience.

TCU's coach was not too happy with some of his players the next day:

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

Good for him. Nip that **** in the bud.

7,000+ is record crowd? Wow. Welcome to the big time, boys.

Yeah, I feel like I'm going to like Trent Johnson. And also not like him if he ever makes TCU more relevant.

But the whole 7,000 is kind of hard to break. That's how big their arena is.

Let's face it - our league took a pretty significant step backward by bringing on another small, private school like TCU. Football - obviously not, but that's not all that should matter. Unfortunately, in 2013, that's pretty much all that does matter. Personally, I'd love to have seen us go back to the Big 8 - regional rivalries, tradition. It just feels wrong seeing MU, CU, NU, even A&M playing in all of these leagues. As a fan of one of those schools, wouldn't you feel that way too, basically being out on your own and losing ALL of your traditional rivals? Funny thing is that now, with our money, we're not making any less per school than they are in their new leagues.

My first ISU basketball game - Fred Hoiberg was on the court.
My first ISU football game - Paul Rhoads was on the sidelines.
But they hadn't yet reached their full potential.

SO PROUD that things have come full circle. #cyclONEnation

Looks like 7,166 is the capacity...less than half of Hilton.

Also, I think I'll like this guy and hope he does a good job. We don't need everyone to suck for us to be good so it would be nice if they got to at least halfway decent. Seems like a nice guy.
