That's right. He went 7-6 in his first year. Still, nowhere near the resume to be pulling in superstars left and right year two.

    Mr. Freeze's kid.

Maybe he's threatening to freeze their parents or something if they don't play there.

Disclaimer: I am a Cyclone first and always will be.

That being said, anyone saying Ole Miss can't pull in big recruits has clearly never been to Oxford or Ole Miss. One of the top party schools along with the most beautiful women in the country (a deadly combination for any recruit stepping on campus for a visit), a gameday atmosphere that no other school can rival, food that would make Paula Deen jealous, and a coach that I would compare to Paul Rhoads in passion and intensity.

As a 17 or 18 year old recruit, Ole Miss would be toward the top of my list in every discussion.

I have no doubt that they have something to offer, but championship level football hasn't been one of those things for a while. Freeze may be a great coach, but he's snagging recruits away from Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Florida State, OU...

These are 5 star kids who usually go to an SEC contender to showcase their talents and leave for the draft as Juniors.

If Ole Miss had a big class full of promising 4 star kids based on Freeze's potential I could buy that. But they are getting the top recruits at their respective positions when they had two 4 stars total last year.

    That's fishy to me.

It's also one of the most racist areas in the country too!

    Re: Ole Miss

I think it smells a little fishy but I think their are smellier fish out there.

Plus, I agree with HottyToddy, in my imagination, Ole Miss probably does have a ton of hotties. I'm thinking about going to Oxford this summer.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Best women are in UT and USC. If you can prove us wrong, post some pics.

The tractor was to pull the house to the best part of the mobile home park.

Oh wait, I thought this was a Hawkeye recruiting thread.

I like the way you think, err, run programs.

Arizona State certainly makes a case...especially if you're into the easy, trashy types

You just described every school in the SEC. There's nothing special about Oxford or Ole Miss when compared to the rest of the conference.
