    "Cyberloafing"

This sounds familiar. Instead of Facebook, though, I've always got a CF window open at the office.

Is that what that is? I've been using that word wrong, then.
I guess I'll need to come up with another description for when I bring my tablet into the bathroom with me.

...then again, I mostly do that at work, so maybe the term still applies.

80%? That's a loaf of bull. I'd say maybe 10% is reasonable. If you can do your job at 20% efficiency, then you need to find more **** to do.

I often have CF open in a window, even if I'm doing something productive at the time. Most of my work is programming, though, so I do get a decent amount of loafing time.

    Re: "Cyberloafing"

Right now, I'm easily at 90% because its the dead of winter. During the summer, it's about 1%.

I'm not sure it necessary to do this study. Anyone who works in an office could tell you that everyone "cyberloafs."

    Re: "Cyberloafing"

Yeah, I just stare at my computer; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

    Re: "Cyberloafing"

Is a Cyberloaf something only Cyber can do?

If you lay a cyber loaf can it be seen by anyone or only programmers? Is this another Matrix reference that only Neo can see?

Whatever it is, I expect Cyberloafing to be the next planking. "They" could have just called it cyberplanking.

That's not real, it's the Matrix. Take the red pill and avoid the guys in suits and shades.
