You don't call a BOR meeting to fire an assistant football coach. They go after bigger game.

They however might call a BOR meeting to discuss an ongoing lawsuit and the effects this has on it.

    Re: Dodds Out at Texas????

This shouldn't be a big deal. For one, this is being brought out because of a disgruntled female coach who was fired for having relations with an athlete and she's suing Applewhite was with someone in the AD. This also happened 4 years ago.

    Re: Dodds Out at Texas????

I don't think that Dodds is in trouble for this. If anyone gets fired it will be Applewhite, but this happened four years ago so I'm really surprised this hasn't gotten through to the media.

Yeah, I mean, if anyone should be in touch with what's going on down in Austin, it should be the longhorn network. I'm surprised they haven't had some sort of expose....

*Edit...maybe they have, I guess...who would know...it's not carried anywhere.

What about Brown? He has been on the warm to hot seat for a few years. Would this be enough?

How Brown has a job is baffling. Sumlin is running circles around him. I expect Brown to be gone very soon.

For some reason Texas likes underachieving coaches

I don't know if I would laugh or cry if Texas got rid of Brown and hired Sumlin. I would laugh at A&M, I would cry for us.
