RECRUITING: A few last minute nuggets

Per a source, Iowa State made in-home visits to Jake Campos and Joel Lanning earlier this week. Both are solid with their commitments leading up to signing day.

Also, hearing that Iowa State will visit Tampa (Robinson) LB Justin Madison later this week.

I'm also hearing that Tampa (Jesuit) OL Robert Garcia will get an in-home visit tonight.

Hope Rhoads closes these out like Mariano Rivera for the Yankees
(fwiw - I am not a Yankees fan)

The subpar defense from the Cyclones gives the Hawks a chance to finally start to get their confidence rolling on offense. Both running the football and through the air.
*Breakout player prediction.... Everyone is going to have their eyes on Allen Lazard because of his hype coming out of H.S., but Derrick Willies steals the show.

Sounds right. My son and some of his friends talked to him after the K-State game and he mentioned Wake but said he was having a great time on his visit to Ames. Maybe the in home visit will seal the deal and he'll become a Clone.

The Rivera that has 600+ saves (or whatever it is), not just lat year's version alone.
