    Cleaning products

So, the wife took the kids back home to her parents for a few days. While she is gone I am in charge of cleaning the house. Those with kids know that it is way easier to get stuff done around the house when no body is home.

I am sick and tired of using ****** bathroom cleaners that cost a butt load and say they cut limescale and hard water stains but do absolutely nothing. Does any body have any cleaning "secrets" they would be willing to divulge?

    TIA

Hire a maid while the wife is gone.

I use that green clorox toilet cleaning gel to clean just about everything. Hard water stains in the shower? Just coat the entire shower with that ****. Lime on the faucet? Coat the **** out of it. Get a nice even coat using a paper towel, and let it sit for a while.

    Re: Cleaning products

Have you tried using this stuff?

I found when I was cleaning that it seemed to get quite a bit and I think it is usually $2-$3.

Get the toilet bowl cleaner because I think it is better than the other spray but it can be pretty potent.

    Magic eraser and Bartender's Friend.

Pinterest says to do this for the showerhead. Never tried it, and likely never will, but you can let me know how it goes.

Showerhead Cleaner -1/3 cup baking soda -1 cup white vinegar -1 plastic bag -1 large bag twisty tie Let sit several hours or overnight.
