Most of mine have already been covered, except Step Brothers and Elf. And Detroit Rock City. In the Loop was pretty hilarious, too.

The first time watching it, Borat was easily the funniest movie I had ever seen. I saw it in a theater and was in tears for most of the movie. Once the shock value wears off, though, it's just ho-hum.

Re: Funniest movie of all time

My list includes some mentioned, but here's what I've got:
Mallrats (and any other Kevin Smith, even Jersey Girl has it's moments and one of the last movies w/ George Carlin...)
Beerfest (and most Broken Lizard - no on Puddle Jumper, and meh on Club Dread)
PCU - "Would you blow me where the Pampers is?" "We're not going to protest! Gutter is a tool!"
    King Pin
Rushmore (love all of Wes Anderson's movies, most aren't so much comedies, but still funny)

I will also get Shawshanked by anything with Will Farrell, Bill Murray, and the greatest actor ever - John C. Rieley; (comedy or not, all three are always funny and/or give great performances... ); any of the theater-worthy Vacation movies (original, European, Christmas, Vegas).

It's literally a movie just about trains, boats and airplanes, I think some of the computers in said trains, boats and airplanes are distant cousins of Wesleybot so it probably holds some nostalgia for him.

Surprised to see two mentions now of The Jerk. Don't think I laughed once through that one. Maybe a generational thing?

I was going to say "How It's Made - Circuits" was going to be Wesley's favorite program.

It must be. I just watched it (the Jerk) again for the first time in years and was surprised how funny it was. After that Steve Martin just got less and less funny. And Big Lebowski and Dumb and Dumber didn't make me laugh at all. I never ever once in my whole life laughed at anything with Jim Carey in it. He's just a newer version of Jerry Lewis and I guess I never thought he was funny either. Definitely must be generational.

No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.

Re: Funniest movie of all time

Addams Family Values. The camp scene where they take over. I LOL'd and no one else got it when I saw it in the theaters.

And all the Sandler Movies listed so far, but you left out the best one in Water Boy. Happy Gilmore: "The price is Wrong, Bob!"

Idiocracy and Office Space were more social commentary than funny for me. Too real, you know? But still funny.
