    Re: jamaica vacation

I would advise against jamacia in general. I've been there to an all-inclusive and a non all-inclusive and neither were as good as other destinations? Are you dead set on Jamacia?

we've been to ocho rios and negril. i like to explore new cities and go to new places and jamacia just didn't give me a safe vibe. compared to the caymans, where it's totally safe, the water is potable, no one tries to screw you over, jamacia just seemed like the dirty little cousin. what's surprising is cayman islands and jamacia were the same country up until about 50 years ago but now they are worlds apart.

we met with a different travel agent yesterday, she suggested Jamaica. Haha, I was like dammit, I want to try a new island!

As far as family ones....not sure how many are on Jamaica - maybe the Sandals ones? I think Mexico might have more options or that fun looking Atlantis one in the Bahamas.
