    Officiating

These guys officiate game after game after game, sometimes 6 games per week, often on top of full-time jobs. Guys, do you REALLY think they care about any particular team in any given game? Why would they? Every game is just another game.

You don't have to be biased to be incompetent.

I'm not trying to say that they wanted West Virginia to win, I just think that they were very inconsistent, both ways, but it happened to go more WVU's way

The only problem I have ever had with refs was this. Phantom Three at the Phog - YouTube
Otherwise I think they do a good job calling it fair in FB and BB

    Re: Officiating

im sure most officials are sports fans and have favorite teams and/or teams they like. i really doubt any of them could care less about isu or wvu though... this topic always reminds me of iowa getting boned in the outback bowl (?) against florida and at least one of the officials was a graduate of UF. funny that the hawks lost, but still thats just not right

Pulling down $100,000 for working 6 months, not too bad of a gig.

Hugs showing up after a win? Clearly you got excited and forgot to watch the last 3 seconds.
