I just don't have the words to say how bad I'm feeling at hearing this news.

That is so sad. I'm so sorry for K'Lynn and the family.

Thoughts and Prayers to Lynn Family. I hope there will be a moment of silence before game tonight.

His daughter and I graduated high school together. Very nice family. A very sad day.

Re: Former ISU track coach Steve Lynn passes away

Yes, he was the coach of some very good teams (Big 8, NCAA and Olympic champions), and by all accounts a nice person.

He will be missed and prayers go out to the Lynn family.

So what exactly happened? It said he fell in his home... What's that mean?

I've heard from several of his former athletes that he passed out in his home and hit his head on the toilet. He went to the hospital and passed all the tests and scans and was doing better, but then all of a sudden he passed away.

He was my hurdling coach at ISU and YES.....he is a class act. He was always upbeat and stayed positive thru out all the turmoil of sports. I'll Miss you, Coach ! God Bless You

Lilfe is fleeting. He was a good guy.

I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all.

Head Coach Bill Bergan and Coach Lynn made quite a wonderful pair of coaches who got the most out of their team. He will be missed.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Re: Former ISU track coach Steve Lynn passes away

A long long line at Steve's visitation this evening. There is a track meet going on this weekend and the athletes and officials are wearing ribbons with a "SL" on them.
