I won't be suprised if Iowa beats anyone in the Big 10 except for Michigan (don't play again unless in tourny or Indiana).
If Iowa goes 9-7 in the Big 10, I think they are in regardless due to the "strength" of the Big 10. At 8-8, they need 1, maybe 2 in the Big 10 tournament.
They will definitely be on the bubble when it comes around I think unless they totally implode. I don't see that happening. They got much better as the year went along last year. Expecting the same to happen this year.

Both a two sample t-test of proportion and a Chi-squared test fail to reject the null hypothesis that there is a difference in winning percentage between the two strategies. In this sample, teams that did not foul won slightly more often.

I understand that it's a single sample, but the reality is that there is no definitive way to approach that play. It's a roll of the dice and unfortunately, it came up snake eyes for ISU.

Difference was that Self called for a BANKED three and Mad Fran played the percentages and went for a regular three.

Mich. St. and KU are haves. ISU and Iowa are have nots. Those who succeed on a regular basis get these breaks.

Well s*** rulzzz....then it really doesn't matter what CFH did, does it? Because when you are playing against "those who succeed on a regular basis" who get the breaks...what is a "have not" suppose to do? Well....outside of logging on to CF for advice from you that is?

I'm just saying those teams make their own luck. I would feel bad if anyone here gave two ***** what a no talent piece of **** loser like me says. We win great we lose sucks but you move on. People that let sporting events determine how feel really is sad.

Re: IZZO decision at end of Iowa game

So Izzo didn't foul. Bill Self said in the presser after the game he probably wouldn't have fouled and played it straight up too. That unless you practice that senerio a ton, it's better not to foul. So obviously Fred is just as bad of a coach as Izzo and Self.
