Lots of very competitive matches. Many guys are borderline NCAA qualifiers and this dual will help or hurt some.

They are over at Cyclone Report! Great win for the Clones! Great to win one of the close ones! Huge win by Tanner Weatherman beating #10 Zanneti in OT

    Re: Rutgers preview

Finch and Meeks both should have won. They both needed those for their confidence. Im happy we got the W but would have been much more enjoyable if those two had been able to finish out their matches.

Not to beat a dead horse but I really wish Meeks would've red shirted. Hope this don't hurt him in the long run.

    Re: Rutgers preview

Got the team win last night, but other than Gadson who was impressive, it was very uninspired. I get the feeling the team is full of "just happy to be there" guys and that includes the head coach.

In contrast Iowa has zero "happy to be there" guys. Probably why they have the wrestling success we desire.

no, iowa has a room full of better wrestlers than we do at this point. fact. weatherman and goetle must have looked good or we wouldn't have got the team win. i didn't watch but followed along. wish meeks and finch would have won but what do you do.
