I don't believe ND would be favored over either Georgia or A&M on a neutral field.

So NIU get whooped and they drop 9 places and ND gets whooped worse and they drop one. What a crock. No way ND should be top five after that embarrassment.

I don't think they would be favored versus: South Carolina, FSU, Florida, or clemson either

Notre Dame should have dropped out of the top 20 with that embarrassment last night.

4 of those losses were on the road, and 4 came in a row. Baylor closed out by going 5-1 against some very good teams (destroying most of them)...they're certainly worthy of being ranked.

I would say Baylor and Okie St > Nebraska at the end of the season.

I'm probably not the best judge, but I didn't expect K-State to drop that far. (or Florida, for that matter).

AP poll is, as usual, more level-headed. Both polls appear bowl-results-centric.

I agree with both, especially Florida. I'm glad they got exposed; they were one of the luckiest teams all year. They struggled with Bowling Green at the swamp in their opener, and should have lost to Louisiana-Lafayette, also at home.

Re: Final Top 25 Football Polls Released

I think Tulsa was worthy of more than a #25 in one poll and receiving votes in the other. They are a better team than what the polls have them.

If you take away first base, they'll just go find a new ballpark to play in.

I don't know about that, but if you going to rank two MAC teams in the top 20 at the end of the regular season and allow one to go to a BCS game, than a 11-3 Tulsa team with a bowl win should get in.
