Things to do in Washington in January?

I'm on a physical therapy school clinical in Washington this month, and looking for things to do on the weekends... I really like Seattle, but I've done the typical tourist things before (Space Needle, Safeco (for a baseball game during the summer, obviously), Market, etc.). Any other ideas of things to do around both Seattle and the rest of the state?

I'm also open to checking out Oregon, since the clinical is located fairly close to the border!

Mt Rainer is really cool, also maybe look at taking a ferry up to Canada.

Drive down to Mt St Helens.

Ride the ferries (not the fairies).

    Go see the rain forest.

Northern California isn't that far away from Southern Washington....

Mt. St. Helens... Brings back fond memories of Geology 100 two semesters ago. Those were the days.
