With all of the negativity which is expected after a disappointing season I wanted to start a thread to thank all of the seniors. They were not the most talented players in general but they gave all they could to build themselves and the program and did a darn good job through most of the season. Nobody can question whether they were all-in and the games they did win were pretty much do to their tireless efforts.
I for one look forward to watching Jake Knott, AK 47 and some of the others in the NFL and know that most of the others will be successful in their future endeavors.
Good thread. Big thank you to these guys, they helped shape a new era of cyclone football. I think the guys like Brett Bueker and Ryan Gent and others that helped a lot off the field deserve a huge thanks. Great group of guys, can't wait to see some of them playing on Sunday's
Yup, this was one of the most fun seasons I have experienced. Couple breaks and it could have been crazy good. Great group of Seniors and they should be proud of what they accomplished here. Great job.
Totally agree! All the seniors need a HUGE THANK YOU and best of everything in the future.
Props to Tiller for hanging in there and making the position change. Witnessed the '09 game in Lincoln in person. He was a RS Freshman and managed the game pretty well in a very hostile environment. His 50 yard bomb to Williams was a pretty nice ball.
I agree. These kids totally changed the trajectory of Cyclone football, and gave the program some of the best victories in the history of ISU. Everything that is built from here forward will be upon the foundation that they laid.
