If that game was @Iowa, I'd agree.

I had told a friend and Indiana fan living in Iowa City that Iowa would give IU its first loss — then it was ruined by Butler.

    First losses:
    Cincinnati: @ Pitt (Dec. 31)
    Wyoming: @ SMU (Jan. 2)
    Arizona: @ Oregon (Jan. 10)
    Duke: @ N.C. State (Jan 12)
Michigan: @ Ohio State (Jan. 13)

Order of likelihood of running the table:
    1. Wyoming (even though I have Wyo. losing soon uncertainty about dominant team in MWC)
    2. Arizona
    3. Cincinnati
    4. Duke
    5. Michigan

Will any team run the table? Not this year.

Re: Undefeated Teams - Who will be the last one to lose?

Probably Duke. I think Michigan is a better team because they are so balanced, but they have to play a lot of good to great teams. I don't think either teams loses a listed game. Iowa beating Michigan is funny. Michigan will run them off the floor.

New Mexico no longer undefeated? That's a damn shame.

    Go Jacks!

Unfortunately I could see Iowa upsetting Michigan if it's in Iowa City.

Iowa gets U-M only once this season, and it's in Ann Arbor.

I'd find it much more likely in IC than @Michigan. On the other hand, although Michigan has looked invincible at home, honestly has played only one high-profile team, N.C. State.

I agree. Seeing the Jacks off New Mexico like it was nobody's business was great.

Zona. They'll come closest. If they don't lose Christmas night to SD St the first Colorado game is at home and they won't lose at McKale to Colorado they'll lose in Boulder. That is a 1 loss team and there lone loss assuming they beat SD St will be either Feb 16@ Colorado or if they don't lose that they will lose March 2 @ UCLA. Miller really has the perfect team since Lyons and Johnson are the best back court and are each really only just finding their game, their size is second to none with Zeus inside, and Hill, Parrom, Ashley, and Jerret are 4 nearly identical players with inside out games and PF bodies at this level who all hit outside shots, drive, play good D, and grab boards. They should have lost to Florida of course but didn't. Tonight they played a Miami team that had a chance to beat them and won easily (Miami was banged up though but Miami is legit and had the length to challenge U of A.) SD St is a team with a chance due to size we'll see how they shoot and maybe get a great game. But thats 3 of the less than 10 teams who can beat them they'll have seen so far. Miller is a top 5 coach (I have him firmly in that Hoiberg/Self class) and did a great job scheduling since they'll have seen literally half of the teams that can actually beat them (Duke, Cuse, Kansas are who I give a chance to take Zona they'd crush duke or the big ten teams IMO) BEFORE Pac 12 play starts.

Cinci will go into the Pit and lose this week. If they do get that win (which will be unbelievably impressive) they won't go more than 3 BE games before they lose. Great team though. I thought they needed that one big man to be a top 10 contender type team but they are doing great with what they have Wright and Kilpatrick are excellent.

Duke will lose a couple games its somewhat harder to predict when...but I think... PROBABLY... they lose sooner rather than later Davidson is a pretty good matchup and NC St fully jacked up should beat them. And like I said there loss (es) will be unpredicatable it might even come in Cameron to a bad team.

Wyoming will do well to get to the SD St and UNLV games before losing I think Boise or NEvada will get them but they might make it till mid January and be one of the last 2-3 teams standing.

Michigan might make it 5 games through Big Ten play before they lose but they should lose at least 3 conference games total.

In order of dropping a game

    Cinci
    Duke
    WYO
    Michigan
    Zona

But yah, 2 excellent games late at night this week in Zona-Sd St and Cinci-New Mex :).
