This is what is wrong with collegiate basketball and football. It's an arms race that is out of control, and ISU is a reluctant participant. I'm a huge Cyclone fan so I'm as guilty as anyone, but it makes me sad to think how much emphasis we place on sports. When there are so many noble causes out there that are in desperate need of support, we choose to spend billions of dollars each year worshipping athletes who pose as students, and coaches who make millions off their athletes' abilities.
I'm not gonna lie... If I were a top ranked recruit and I had everything that Kentucky has to offer waved in front of my face, it would be damn hard to turn a scholly offer down.

I would say an important skill that great leaders have is knowing their own abilities. They are usually really good at one aspect but are not afraid to bring in an expert in another area. The opposite can be said for terrible leaders who tend to "know everything" and insist on having their hands on everything.
