If this thread was ment to say "Booker sure is playing well", then yes, I agree.

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

    There's no suspense in that.

    I think Mcgee would disagree.

In all fairness, this post was made when the score was 43-39. Before McGee went off.

    Re: Booker

I said earlier that we need Booker. Booker is really turning his season around. I can only hope he continues to improve. He gave us almost exactly what we need from him except I think he needs to get more physical in the post before the ball gets there. He needs to establish his position on defense early and not wait for the pass inside. People are getting the ball too deep. This makes it impossible for him to stop the player without fouling. He is still better than any other post defender we have and Gibson was terrible tonight. He really needs to improve on this. Niang needs to get stronger.

I feel for you. I was in Sioux Falls, and got out of class at 4pm. I drove straight home to see the game, and got it on. I listened to our radio announcers and ran the game on Cyclone TV. There was a delay on the radio, but it was still better than otherwise. I think they need to play better defense, but this team has scorers. Generating offense isn't going to be a problem except against the best teams in the nation at defense. It is a fun team to watch.

    Re: Booker

I didn't get to watch the game because I came home from a meeting at 8:50 p.m. and by then the game was already over. I was hoping I could start it from the beginning on cyclones.tv but apparently it was a direct live feed from the station in Kansas City.

I wish I could have seen Booker play. I've been down on him since he got here because he's been so foul prone but clearly has athletic ability. I saw he only had one foul though, and from what the posters wrote in the game thread that one foul was a bad call.

    Re: Booker

He was really solid, took a few bad shots, but it wasn't bad. Booker needs to keep people out of position in the paint better. He did a good job otherwise. The guy is brute strong, and has good basketball skills. He just needs to be happy with what he can do, and not try to do what he can't. That is what gets him in trouble. He has been great at that in recent games but still could do a few things better. I have always thought he has loads of talent, we always have to learn to assess ourselves clearly and not be biased.

There are people that say I am biased against referees. I have never hit a referee, isn't that good enough?

Neither is the Drake game, WTF???

    Re: Booker

Did anyone from Cyclones.tv say they would be on replay? They didn't produce either game and don't have rights to do whatever they want with them.

That could be the reason. Although it's weird that almost all of the football replays are on there despite being produced by fox/abc/etc.

    Re: Booker

It may be possible that they do not put them as replays since they were not original cyclonetv feeds. You could write them and ask them. They normally give good answers. Cyclones.tv - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - The home of Iowa State Cyclone Sports They normally give good answers but make sure it is addressed to cyclone tv in areas of interest.
