I'm excited for spring to see CF blow up with fans giving their take on who is practicing better Grant or Sam, and who they would rather start. It is gonna be fun.

Would it be CF, or Cyclone Football for that matter, without a polarizing QB Battle?

If SR is a better runner, that may give him the edge.

The good thing is instead of having average QBs going against each other it looks like we might actually have a couple good QBs battling it out.

It's always the next QB. Never the one we have.

Tiller was tearing up the practice squad, then Barnett was, then SR, now Rohach. When is the incumbent going to actually be the best guy.

Probably the last time there was consensus on this was going into the 2002 season...

The backup QB is always the most popular guy on the team among the fanbase. From Pee Wee league up to the NFL.

And jared is the best runner of the 3. Give me a passer or give me death

Re: Grant Rohach making the most of extra bowl practice reps

While having a duel-threat quarterback would be great and dandy, I think we can all agree that we just want a QB that can hit the open guy and not throw into triple coverage.

Re: Grant Rohach making the most of extra bowl practice reps

If one player is even a marginally better passer, that is who I want. A QB is going to have the most success running when the other team isn't focused on the pass or when they are scrambling anyway. It isn't like any of them are Denard or anything.

Re: Grant Rohach making the most of extra bowl practice reps

Grant sounds like he is a good athlete, I love the way Mess described him as a bulldog, "We NEED MORE DOGS! WE DONT NEED NO CATS UP IN HERE! BE A DOG!"

I think leadership is key, and players normally rally behind a QB like Grant, but if Sammy Rich can get better and more confident then I have no problem with him being our QB.

I like both as QBs and don't have a preferred guy this time around. I think we better off the next three years at the least then the past years of the CPR era.

Re: Grant Rohach making the most of extra bowl practice reps

It will be interesting to see what these "potentially" pure and great QB's" do for JB's game in the off-season and how the coaches handle him. Some of you have just written him off and maybe rightfully so. But, wouldn't be great for the program if these guys push our "proven veteran" and "charasmatic leader" and he improved his game?
