Anyone watching the New Mexico Bowl?

This has been an insane ending. Strongly recommend watching for the highlights at the end. It's on ESPN right now. Arizona has scored 2 TD's in the last minute to take the lead.

Wow....Nevada has outplayed Arizona all day, turnovers kept Arizona in the game all day, then the onside kick...That's some ISU type luck right there!

Re: Anyone watching the New Mexico Bowl?

In less than 90 seconds, Arizona got 126 yards of offense and 2 TD's, with an on-side kick recovery in between.

Game over, they just picked the Nevada QB. Crazy, crazy last few minutes.

Guess I shouldn't have turned the channel. Bigger win for me, I gained 25 points in the comeback.

Had 19 points on Arizona in my office pool. That come back was much needed.

The ending made up for the full on fighting between teammates earlier.

Re: Anyone watching the New Mexico Bowl?

I completely disagree with Nevada's decision to kick a field goal with 1:36 left and a ten point lead.

Why? It made no sense whatsoever.

They had 4th and 6 inside the 10 or 15 yard line. Run a play and, at worst, leave them inside the 10 with you still holding a ten point lead.

    Crazy.

    Crazy.
Chris Ault (Nevada coach) completely spat in the face of his QB Fajardo who had an outstanding game and is damn good. With about 14 minutes left and a 10 point lead he gave the backup QB a series.

You deserve to lose if you do something like that. I like both teams since I have spent a lot of time in both Reno and Tuscon but poor kid Fajardo he's been as good his first 2 years as a starter as Kaepernick was. Disgusting that his coach would want his scrub *** backup to get some PT thinking a 10 point game was over.

Great game though nations 2 best running backs statistically in Jefferson and Carey going head to head.
