I'd play for a coach I'd love to play for. Since isu is off the market, I'd go somewhere warm.
    Maybe south Carolina

Re: If you were the #1 recruit in the country...

Dartmouth basketball. Terrible program with 13 wins in the last three years. But great academics, party atmosphere, and the ability to be the greatest. A real chance to see if you can singlehandedly turn a team around and how far that talent can go. I like underdog challenges like that.

If I didn't care about D1: Grinnell basketball, because that system with No. 1 talent would be the most fun you could have as a college athlete.

I would go to Iowa and be a multi-sport athlete.

I would try my best to throw every game. Losing = Winning

Re: If you were the #1 recruit in the country...

Football? Stanford, because it is big time college football but lots of exposure to networks that would last a lifetime.

Wrestling? Cornell. Because I could be a national champion but still go to an Ivy league school.

Basketball? Arizona State. You shouldn't need an explanation.

Anything else... probably Stanford for the same reason as Football.

Re: If you were the #1 recruit in the country...

Basketball: I'd convince a booster or coach at Iowa to pay me a hefty ransom to come there and would document everything. After 1 year, I would leave for the NBA and roll over on Iowa to the NCAA, putting severe sanctions on their athletic department. I would then take my money made in the NBA and help fund bowling in the SEZ at Jack Trice.

Basketball- Michigan, other than ISU I loved the fab five. Good academics.

Football- Minnesota, like the Twin Cities. All the lakes to fish. There are some hotties up there as well that know how to keep you warm in the winter!!

I don't think Iowa would need my help, but that's IMO.
