    Re: Your greatest athletic achievement/moment

A lot of great team memories, such as breaking our schools single season win record in basketball, and setting the school record for wins in baseball by a class over 5 years. A few season long things here and there like all-conference and all-district every year in basketball and baseball.
Being able to start varsity baseball my 8th grade year was a huge deal to me. One memory being my first varsity start, the softball field was right next to the baseball field, so when that game ended all of the players and fans came over to the baseball game. I hit one off the fence for a bases clearing double late in the game off an all-conference pitcher.. He threw it at me the next game haha. Welcome to varsity baseball.

Pinning a two time state champion and being his only loss of the year our senior year (I ended the year 6-6)...He we beating me 6-1 and illegally slammed me to the mat in the second period - which accounted for the 1 point - In the third period I sat out and he got cocky and too high so I grabbed his head and pulled him over and pinned him with 16 seconds left in the match...needless to say he was a little ****** off. To this day he avoids me like the plague whenever we see one another.

Ran at the Drake Relays Sophomore - Senior year in HS. Made it in an individual event my senior year, got a pretty decent medal, set the school record that was beat by an absolute freak 2 years ago that ended up running at Arkansas.

Ran at state Soph - Senior year. Could have won my senior year but a kid fell into my lane and I missed the finals by a tenth of a second.

Holy ****! I'm pretty sure my senior year of track our fastest guy in the 3200 wasn't even under 10.

Here is my list (keep in mind that I'm a hefty person):
    1. Going coast-to-coast to score a goal in soccer as a defender
    2. Receiving 2 on-side kickoff attempts in a JV football game for a cumulative one yard return.
    3. Starting guard when we upset Solon back in my junior year

I missed this thread as I've been really busy and away for most of football season.

    Playing in a Super Bowl.

    What do I win?

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

That depends... Did you win the game?

    Also, for me

1)I rode a bicycle around the perimeter of the country for a total of 10,136 miles.
2)I was second at nationals as a middle weight in taekwondo and may have won had I not torn my PCL during the semis. I refused to injury default in the finals and got my *** handed to me since I could hardly move.
    3) I was part of the last ISU taekwondo team to win a national title for master Pak.
