2A football State Championship game against Solon and current Hawkeye James Morris in 2009-If anyone doubts he's good, your wrong (He's really good, not the most fun blocking him)..as well as tearing every ligament in my knee and foot in a single wrestling match my senior year, good times for all

I am fat old and slow, but I fished cap pursuit one year in under 1:30. That and winning 2 marathons was my best achievement (and by winning I mean crossing the finish line under my own power).

Coming back my senior year after I destroyed my knee my junior year and scoring a touchdown in the first game of the season. That was pretty neat.

Also running for over 100 yards in my first game ever as a running back my junior year.

ďUrgency,Ē Rhoads said. ďThatís exactly what I told our staff. Itís exactly what I told our players. Urgency in getting your job done. Thatís in a 100 percent rate of speed at executing your responsibility ó whether itís a fit, whether itís a tackle, whether itís a route, whether itís a cut-off block. Everybody needs a little bit more urgency in coaching and playing.Ē

I guess I also schooled Peter Jok at the YMCA a couple years ago before he was tall... and good.

Finished our season 5th nationally as a part of the Iowa State Paintball Club in 2007. Won a couple tournaments with those guys & placed high in a bunch of others.

If I had to pick one personal moment of glory that vividly sticks out, it'd be when I had a pick 6 in like 5th grade football, haha. It's the only touchdown I ever scored!

I finished 10th individually at state golf in 2011 but my favorite moment was draining a 3/4 court shot at the end of the third quarter in a basketball game against a conference rival that we ended up winning by 2 points. Practicing those halfcourt shots does pay off, folks.

I completely forgot about intramurals. 3 time championship goalie in coed broomball, going for 4 (and the sweep) this spring.

    Re: Your greatest athletic achievement/moment

I really only remember the awful stuff. New thread coming. I am incredibly nonathletic so I got posterized a few times in summer league and was, in general, not very good a basketball because I am 6'1 and slow so I really didn't have anywhere to play. I did lead the state in 3p% one year when I went 2/2 without touching the rim on either attempt...thank you. I really don't have anything great other than making all conference in golf with the shanks. That was the most interesting round of golf I think I've ever played. If I remember correctly, I shot 78 and hit 3 fairways and 4 greens.

It's all snark from here on out
