Sounds like the opposite of Korie. I can get behind that.

Jacy Holloway who can score if he needs to. I like that.

My ideal PG is capable of scoring 20, but chooses to score 9 because they create for the other four guys on the floor.

Great scouting report Brent. Very solid work. Excited to have Custer on board.

Great scouting, it was a good read. I was thinking Jacy as I was reading it before I got to your comparison...seems great minds think alike!

FIFY. Jacy was an accomplished guard who held scoring records in HS but Floyd had a rule for him that he couldn't take a shot unless the shot clock was under something like 5 seconds. When he shot it he made it at a decent clip. It wasn't a case of unable to, it was not allowed to.

Yeah Jacy was a scorer when he was recruited to Iowa State. Pretty sure if Jacy averaged 2 points a game in high school we would not have recruited him.

Hornecek was also a point guard who was great at distributing the ball, unselfish, and played at a pace that was controlled, but suddenly could take off if needed. I remember he made the most unbelievable down court precision passes on the fast break.

I can't find a single highlight of this kid on the internet. Strange.

Probably because he was playing with Dedrick "Deadeye" Willoghby (sorry if i can't remember spelling his name correctly)

A little off the Custer topic, but I love the power that Travis displays attacking the rim. That's something we currently lack - a big with power AND skill. Nothing against Percy and Georges... RT would be a nice compliment to them.
