Between this thread and the other one I'm 100% convinced you just plain make things up. White is a high flyer, an explosive athlete who plays above the rim frequently. He doesn't look the part but he plays it well. Based on what I've seen (I live with THREE Iowa fans and I love college hoops) he gets 2+ dunks per game.

When you turn the ball over like crazy it does look like you are getting out coached. Fran had his team ready to play and put a good game plan together. Iowa gets a few how did they win that games a year and tonight was one of them.

    1. Iowa SWEPT Wisconsin last year. Iowa has improved. Wisconsin is not as good this year as they were last season.
    2. Do you mean the Wichita State team rated 23rd in the country? That Wichita State team?

Your post was full of ignorant statements. Those were just two of the biggest knee slappers.

White isn't fast/quick, but yes, he can jump fairly well. He's also 6'7 so dunking isn't too difficult, but he loves to do it. I wouldn't call him "athletic" but I wouldn't call him "unathletic" either.

Can you explain to me at what point they go from "getting a few how did they win that games" to a team that is as good or better than the teams they are playing? I await your answer.

I find it interesting that Iowa won 19 games last year, has clearly improved their talent level this year, yet we have so many posts stating how they are not very good and are going no where in the future.

You guys all have your heads in the sand.

When they win the games they should win, they will take that next step.

"Dunking" isn't difficult but not many people 6'8'' (or any height) get off the floor as quickly as he does. He also appears to have Elastic Man's arms.

    Explosive? Check.
    Quick vis-a-vis his size? Check
    Fast? Check
    Hand-eye coordination? Check

    Yep, that's an athletic player.

They've done that this year as far as I'm concerned. Their losses are to an undefeated and ranked Wichita State team that went to the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney last season, and a road loss to an undefeated Virginia Tech team that is coming off an upset of #15 Okie State.

The refs were too ticky tacky early in this game. ISU picked up some cheap fouls IMO.

That said, I was at a loss for what ISU was trying to do offensively...it was either chuck threes or isolation plays.
If Iowa is NIT-bound, Iowa State (at current level) is grasping at CBI.
