    2014 Duncan Ferch 6'3" 195 lbs RB/SS

Duncan Ferch - Highlight Videos, Schedule & Roster - Hudl

I'd like to see this kid get an offer. With both brothers at ISU, he'd probably walk on too but I feel he could get a scholarship offer. Based off this video he ran a 4.58 at the ISU camp. He was first team All-State as a So & Jr. He looks like a big, fast & athletic kid. Looks to have good hands I could see him playing WR at 6-3, or RB after some weight gain and be a Woody type back. Or on Defense he could be an OLB or a very big SS. The state of Iowa has some very good talent in this 2014 class!

If he could put on 10-15 pounds of musce and keep his speed, he would have NFL safety numbers. Not saying he will be there, or even that he will be that good at the college level, but he sure would have the body for it. (no homo)

with that frame he has good feet, good hips and athleticism. Might be worthy of a scholly to play LB.

    I would love a 6-3 4.58 safety at 195 pounds.....why make him a linebacker?

He'll get bigger. He's only a junior in high school.

I believe Duncan is probably just under 6'2 if I had to guess. Maybe still growing. It would be a shame if he doesn't get offered by ISU. the thing is, I'm pretty sure he'll go where ever he is offered. He has no plans to walk on anywhere.

As some mentioned, he is only a junior and has a ton of room to fill out. Very good instincts as a runner.

He might be a good candidate for the hybrid S/LB position.

This kid has skills. Good field awareness, would love to see him be a cyclone.

    Re: 2014 Duncan Ferch 6'3" 195 lbs RB/SS

Long time football coach at West Marshall High School, Ken Winkler, has had quite a few over-achievers walk on and eventually earn a scholly, but would like to see Duncan rewarded with one. Besides the two Ferch brothers currently on the team, I believe West Marshall has two other walk-ons vying for a scholarship and playing time. Not bad for a little school in State Center!

This is what I heard this weekend. He won't be walking on. If ISU offers he'd probably come but I also heard (from a Hawk fan so take with a grain of salt) that if Iowa also offered he'd go there.
