Coach Rhoads has interest in dinner at my house!

Seriously, CPR is not going anywhere. With the recruits coming in and starting to win the in-state recruiting, this guy isn't leaving anytime soon! So please stop the threads. Thanks

Well I AM.. ISU is a better job... Maybe not for everyone, but no job is. But for CPR and JP ISU is a better job. If i could chose any college to be head coach of right now... It would be ISU, no questions asked. I love the State of Iowa, and I love ISU... thats my dream job. Im hoping its CPRs too.

Building something into your own is what makes legends... When you think Wisconsin do you Brett Bielema? Nope, you think Alvarez. Penn State??? Joe Pa. Nebraska Tom Osborne. You get my point... ISU is becoming all Rhoad's and JPs... thats it.

yeah I'd say they blow ISU out of the water. Wisconsin is a top 20 job, some of you are treating it like they're Pitt.

He wouldn't be the first coach to turn down an offer from a better program though.

anyway, this is all moot because I don't see Wisconsin going in that direction.
Wisconsin is a better job yes, Rhoads is the most talked about.500 coach out there, but going to Rosť Bowls doesn't mean what it once did either. Urban Meyer has Ohio State poised to earn that prize, Bielema went to a mid level SEC job with no SEC roots for money that Wisconsin had the ability to match. have no idea who Wisconsin is interested in or if Rhoads would listen but right now the Big Ten is moot and its arguable if Wisconsin is truly a top twenty job. Apparently Beliema didn't think it was. I think Rhoads stays at ISU for a while but none of us have any clue, things are changing, power is currently in the SEC and until the Big 12 or Big 10 get competitive with that league, the gap in money will widen, so much money they can afford to fire their coaches in two years after a national championship. So does a long term contract for less money mean something, it has for Ferrentz and I hope it will for Rhoads.
