    Parking at Carver

Going to Carver for the first time to cheer on the Clones. Can anyone tell me what parking is like? I know it's a disaster for football games, but wasn't sure about basketball.

    Re: Parking at Carver

I have not been to Carver... but found this info:
Carver-Hawkeye Arena / Map of University Parking Lots
Click HERE for a map of University of Iowa parking lots. Please remember that the majority of parking lots managed by the University of Iowa adjacent and/or near Carver-Hawkeye Arena are reserved on game days for friends and fans with reserved parking placards.
Looks like parking for Carver is also bad. Someone should have a better answer though.

    Re: Parking at Carver

park across HWY 6 in the neighborhood on either bayard or rider st. there's a bridge that crosses over next to the VA and then it's a short walk up to carver. it's free to park on the streets and you likely won't get much closer without getting a ticket near the arena unless you have a pass.
